Quartz Carpet is a durable, hand-trowelled and seamless floor covering that combines natural quartz granules with high-quality binder resin. It creates a carpet-like effect with the longevity of tiles and can be used for either interior or exterior projects. In recent years, natural quartz for flooring has enjoyed a revival due to its resilience, easy maintenance and design qualities. It is now a highly sought-after technique that only a few are trained to deliver like the Protect Epoxy Team in Sydney.
The quartz stones come in various colours and are available in 1-2mm and 2-3mm sized stones creating a versatile look for any surface. The quartz carpet can then be hand-trowelled over existing surfaces at approximately 5-7mm thick for foot traffic and 8 – 15 mm thick for vehicle traffic.
The quartz stones can be applied over a range of substrates including concrete, tiles, compressed sheeting, plaster, villa board, brick, ply & MDF reducing need for removal and demolition.

Versatile Finishes for Quartz Carpet
This finish can be applied in residential, commercial, retail, educational and industrial projects. For internal applications the ‘Porefilled’ finish is used; the spaces between the quartz stones are filled making the floor a moppable surface. The ‘Open Pore’ finish is used externally as it is water-permeable and UV stable.
